all arrangements of objects kept functioning by rubber bands, bulldog clips, and blutak. after each recording, the entire set up was dismantled. ephemeral and transitory, like an audio sand mandala.

NOTE 1: the piece "Positions" was recorded by moving the recording device (my phone) around the structure, picking up different nuances of the sounds created by wandering all around the different moving parts.

NOTE 2: several of these pieces end when some vital part of the structure collapses or flies off the turntable. see if you can tell which ones!

NOTE 3: the piece "While Vegetables Fry" was recorded while Panthera Leo was frying up vegetables in the kitchen nearby. many thanks to her for the extra sizzling sounds!
